This pasture area provides a food source for the horses as well as wildlife.  It is bordered by a cleared area 50 feet wide on all sides.  This area outside the pasture provides a pathway for larger game and is part of the trail system on The Farm.  Natural grass is grown as a hay for the horses and cover for quail, rabbits, turtles, lizards, snakes, deer and other wildlife.

This project was started in January and completed in the spring of 2013. This was the third of five acre pastures to be constructed.  The wooden post were made from power poles cut to eight feet and spaced 20 feet apart.  The fencing is electric rope.  As standard with all of the pastures, the Harold Williams Jr. pasture has a walk through for easy entrance and exit.  The walk through minimizes the opening and closing of gates which in turn minimizes the possibility of leaving a gate unlatched.  The gate is a twelve foot metal galvanized bull gate with a two way latch system.
